A drone lithium polymer battery (LiPo battery) is a rechargeable, lightweight power source that provides the energy needed for drone flight, making it the most widely used battery technology in modern drones.

Drone LiPo batteries are usually made up of multiple cells.Each cell in a LiPo battery typically produces 3.7 volts, and drone batteries are commonly configured as 2S, 3S, 4S, or 6S, meaning they contain two, three, four, or six cells connected in series.
