Charging & Installation
Installation is simple:
1.Power-off operation：Before installation, ensure that the drone is completely powered off (turn off the remote control and the power supply of the aircraft body)
2.Battery status check，Confirm that the battery is not bulging, leaking, or having oxidized interfaces (abnormal batteries are prohibited from installation)
3.Environmental adaptation：
In low-temperature environments (<5℃), preheat the battery to above 15℃ before installation
LiFePO4 batteries have extremely low self-discharge (less than 1% per month). When stored, charge to 50-80% SOC and disconnect from the vehicle. The battery will retain charge for up to 3 year.
Charger/Connection Failure Faulty charger/adapter: Test with a known-good charger or measure output voltage (should match battery specs, e.g., 11.1V±5%) Damaged cables/ports: Check for bent pins or debris in ports; clean with isopropyl alcohol Third-party charger mismatch: Use only OEM chargers to avoid protocol conflicts (e.g., DJI locks non-official accessories)
Battery Issues Over-discharge protection:Voltage <3.0V/cell triggers safety lock； Fix: Attempt slow charging at ≤0.1C for 10 mins to reactivate。 Physical damage: Swelling, leaks, or dents require immediate replacement (fire risk) Aging: Cycle count >500 reduces capacity; replace if voltage drops abnormally during use
Environmental Factors：Temperature limits: Charging disabled below 5°C or above 50°C Warm/cool batteries to 15-25°C (59-77°F) before charging Moisture exposure: Dry connectors thoroughly if wet
Software/Firmware Errors Battery hibernation: After >6 months storage, batteries may require factory reset Firmware bugs: Update drone battery firmware via official apps
